William Sandgren

Southbridge: William " Red" Sandgren, 85, of Eastford Rd. died Tuesday, June 21, at UMASS Medical Center. His wife of forty nine years Marie R. (Galipeau) Sandgren died in 1997. He leaves a son William and his wife Heather Sandgren of Warren, two daughters Mary E. wife of Mark Zarazinski of Southbridge; Cindy A. wife of Donald Paulhus of Brimfield, eight grandchildren Shawn Sandgren, William Sandgren, Garnett Putnam, Gregory Sandgren, Brianna Sandgren, Erik Zarazinski, Amy Zarazinski, Liam Putnam, and three great grandchildren. Mr. Sandgren served in the Army during WWII. He retired from Hyde Manufacturing in 1985 after thirty nine years of service. He was known as " Mr. Fix It" and he enjoyed his dog and cat. His funeral service will be held at TEN AM Saturday, June 25, in the Elm Street Congregational Church, Elm St. Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
