William Dickson

April 9, 1959 — July 14, 2009

CHARLTON ââ?¬â?? William F. Dickson, 50, of Burlingame Rd., died Tuesday, July 14, at UMASS Medical Center, after an illness.  He leaves his wife, of 15 years,  Elizabeth (Tetreault) Dickson; his children, Eric and Nicole Dickson, of Charlton; his parents, William and Sheila (Post) Dickson, of Cotuit; two sisters, Stephanie Halpern, of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Laurie Roche, of Needham and Cape Cod.

 

He was born on April 9, 1959, in Boston, and grew up in Sturbridge.  He graduated from Tantasqua High School in 1977, and attended North Adams State College. He enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, and spending time with his family and friends.

 

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 17, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St., Southbridge.  Calling hours are 5:00 ââ?¬â?? 8:00pm, Thursday, July 16, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Neuro Trauma Center, c/o UMASS Memorial Foundation, 338 South St., Shrewsbury, MA 01545.  An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
