SOUTHBRIDGE – William Camacho Sr., 58, of Poplar St., died Tuesday, January 25, at UMASS Memorial Healthcare Center. He leaves his wife, Carmen (Hernandez) Camacho; three sons, William Camacho Jr., of Waltham, Kelvin Camacho, and Brian Camacho, both of Southbridge; his mother, Carmen Lopez, of Waltham; his father, Teodoro Camacho, of Chicago; 4 brothers, Teodoro Camacho, Miguel Rivera, both of Southbridge, Raul Melendez, of Lynn, and Jose Camacho, of Chicago; 4 sisters, Carmen Girom and Gladys Melendez, both of Waltham, Milagros Camacho and Kathy Martinez, both of Chicago; 5 grandchildren, Hennesseys Camacho, Ivy-Jolie Camacho, William Camacho III, Karla Collazo, and Norma Collazo; nieces and nephews.
He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, and grew up in Waltham. He was employed by Barry Controls in Waltham. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and playing dominos.
A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, January 28, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Charlton St., Southbridge.
