Wilfred F. Bertrand Jr., 81 of Brimfield passed away on Tuesday, April 20,2021, at Harrington Memorial Hospital.

Wilfred leaves behind his loving wife Juliette (Courtemanche) Bertrand; his daughter Debra Lavallee from Brimfield, and her boyfriend Brian Tryba of Brookfield; 2 brothers David Bertrand of Southbridge, Robert Bertrand and his wife Linda of Ware; 2 sisters Beverly Jesky-Pratt and her husband Freddy of Southbridge, Judith Bertrand of Southbridge; 2 grandsons Craig Packard and Neil Packard and his wife Melissa; and 5 great grandchildren Cody, Dylan, Aaron, Ethan, and Jarrod.

Wilfred was born in Ware son of the late Wilfred Bertrand Sr. and Viola (Winot) Bertrand. He was predeceased by his three brothers Ronald, William and Lawrence.

Wilfred served in the National Guard for 3 years and was also on active duty for 6 months. 

Wilfred worked at several jobs throughout his career. He worked at Ronnie's Cycle in Charlton, CAP Auto Parts in Southbridge, C.P.C. Engineering Corporation in Sturbridge, Bill Spinneys Garage in Sturbridge.

Wilfred enjoyed the outdoors going fishing, hunting, and riding on motorcycles. He was a lover of photography and archery. He also enjoyed racing stock cars in Westborough at Riverside Park. He was a loving man who would always be willing to help anyone that he could.
