Virginia Lavallee

SOUTHBRIDGE: Virginia Lavallee, 75, of Chapin St., died on Tuesday, March 29,2022 at UMASS Hospital. She was preceded by her husband Andre Lavallee who died on June 8, 2016. She leaves 2 daughters Andrea Brousseau of Southbridge and Nichole Duquette and her husband Dane Duquette of Ware; 5 grandchildren Madison, Olivia, Thomas, Samantha, and Nola. She was born in Thompson, CT. the daughter of the late Alush and Stella (Lankey) Negip. She was predeceased by her siblings Helen Fontaine, Maurice Negip, Edward Negip, Emile Negip, Theresa LeBeouf, Stacia Buczynski, Doris Augustnynski, Richard Negip. Gin or Ginny, as she was known to her friends and family, was loved by all that knew her. She was so generous with her time and energy; she'd give you the shirt off her back to help you. Before starting a family, Ginny was a hairdresser. Once she had kids, her family became her everything. She was so proud to be a mom. She'd spend the rest of her life being a mom to not only her own 2 children but to those she looked after and nannied. She also looked forward to the days of spending time with all of her grandkids together and never missed a special occasion. Ginny was the best friend, mom, wife, grandmother and nanny that anyone could have asked for. Belanger Bullard Funeral Home is directing arrangements.
