Thomas Apostol

STURBRIDGE: Thomas M. Apostol, 73, of Cricket Drive died Monday, January 21, at Harrington Hospital. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Alice (Dionne) Apostol; his mother Norma (Prendi) Apostol of Southbridge; his daughter Laura Ouilette of Las Vegas, NV; two granddaughters Ashley Day of Foxboro, and Brittnay Day of North Richland Hills, TX.
He was predeceased by his father Vasil Apostol, and his brother James Apostal.
He was born in Southbridge and lived in the area all his life. He was an Air Force veteran.
Tom worked for Pratt Whitney for 38 years. After his retirement he worked at Wal-Mart as a greeter for 13 years. He enjoyed all New England professional sports teams, trips to Foxwood’s Casino, and at one time he was an avid golfer and bowler.
His funeral will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, January 23, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held from 9A.M. to 10 A.M. prior to the service.
