CHARLTON CITY ââ?¬â?? Theresa Corrine (Paquette) Ostrokolowicz, 82, formerly of Lakeview Dr., died Sunday, June 6, in Oakwood Rehab and Nursing Home, Webster, of Alzheimer's disease. Her husband, Alexander J. Ostrokolowicz, Jr. died in 1997. She leaves one daughter, Arlene S. Normandin, of Southbridge; one son, James E. Ostrokolowicz, and his wife, Natalie, of Webster; three sisters, Lena Martel, of CA, Shirley Girouard, of FL, and Rita Simonelli, of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Christopher C. Normandin, of Southbridge, Jason M. Normandin, of Orange, and Amy L. Nelson, of Randolph; 6 great-grandchildren, Gabriella Normandin, Hayleigh Normandin, Halle Nelson, Christopher C. Normandin, Jr., Bradley Normandin and Blake Normandin; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Henry, Normand and Leo Paquette, and two sisters, Gertrude Rizner and Viola Waters.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Alfred and Angelina (Bouthiellette) Paquette, and lived in the area most of her life. She and her husband moved to West Hyannisport in 1970 to pursue a landscaping business for the Kennedy compound. They later returned to the area to retire and enjoyed spending the winter months in Lake Worth, FL. Along with taking care of her children, her favorite part-time job was working for Kelly Home Health Care, sharing her love and compassion for the elderly. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling, cruising, winning at Foxwoods, and playing Bingo and cards. Her favorite activity was entertaining her beloved great-grandchildren who she deeply loved, and being with her dear friend Inez Lombardi.
A private, family service will be held by the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Joseph's Garden of Peace Cemetery, Old Worcester Rd., Webster, MA. An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com.
