HOLLAND: Steven George Margelony, 66, passed away on August 7, 2021 after his decade-long battle with cancer. A resident of Holland, Massachusetts, he was born in Rockville, Connecticut on January 30, 1955. He was a perseverant, loving, and charismatic man who could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed bowling in the Friendship Bowling League, crafting glass artworks, and photography. He loved spending his summers with his family in his cottage in Maine and volunteering for support groups helping others fighting cancer. Steven was also a retired salesman for Firestone, Goodyear, and Max Finklestein throughout his career.
He leaves behind his husband, Calvin Lajoie, and his son, Stephen Margelony Lajoie. He leaves behind his siblings Barbara Lavey, David and Joan, John and Debbie, Michael and Michelle, and Peggy Margelony as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mark and Trish Lajoie. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Paul and Frances Margelony, and his nephew Michael John Margelony.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 14, from 8:30-10:30 AM at Belanger Funeral Home,51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A memorial service will be held at 9:30AM in the Funeral Home.
