Stephen E McCloud

CHARLTON: Stephen E. McCloud, born on December 11, 1962, passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2024, in Charlton. He was a beloved brother and uncle, and his legacy will be cherished by his family and friends.

Stephen graduated from Shepard Hill Regional High School in 1980 and continued his education at Nichols College, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business in 1984. His dedication to learning and his career paved the way for numerous opportunities and lasting relationships throughout his professional journey.

Stephen had a variety of interests that brought joy to his life. He was an avid collector, with a passion for collecting stamps and baseball cards. His enthusiasm extended to the world of sports, especially NASCAR, where he proudly attended the INDY500 race, a highlight that showcased his love for the thrill of competition.

He is survived by his three brothers: David McCloud of Charlton, Jeffery McCloud of Charlton, and Timothy McCloud of Mechanicsville, MD. His sister, Barbara Blais of Hudson, also survives him, along with several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him for his warmth and kindness.

Stephen was preceded in death by his late parents, Harry and Elizabeth ‘Sahlin’ McCloud, whose memory will forever linger in the hearts of those who loved him.

As we remember Stephen, we celebrate a life dedicated to family, friendship, and an unwavering enthusiasm for the things he loved. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched.

Calling hours at the funeral home are 6-8 on Thursday, December 12th, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. 

Steve's funeral will be held at 10am on Friday, December 13 in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Mani St. Charlton.
