STURBRIDGE: Sophie 'Nancy" (Lesniak) Wrzosek, 98, of First Ave. died Sunday, Oct 12, in Webster Manor Healthcare.
Her husband Anthony Wrzosek died in 1999.
She leaves her son Howard of Douglas, 3 grandchildren James, Jason and Lisa, and three great grandchildren Jaydon, Gavin, and Mason. She was predeceased by her son Lawrence, her brother Stanley, and her sister Genevieve Leswiak.
Sophie was born in New Haven, CT. the daughter of Stanlaus and Helen (Giaparda) Lesniak, and lived in the area many years.
She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan, she enjoyed her daughter-in-law's "Lynn" cheesecake.
Sophie will also be missed by her cat Charcoal.
Her calling hours are 4:00PM to 6:00PM, Friday, October 17, in the Belanger-Bullard
Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A graveside will be held at NOON, Monday, October 20, in St. Anne's Cemetery, Arnold Rd. Sturbridge.
