Sandra L. (Wright) Smith Holland Ma Sandra L. (Wright) Smith 49 of 19 Dug Hill Rd was surrounded by her family when she was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday Sept 13th. Sandy leaves her husband of 21 years Jon H. Smith, two daughters Megan and Kelly Smith both of Holland, her mother Carolyn (Terkelsen) Wright of Holland, a sister Deborah Wright of Ashland, two brothers Stephen and his wife Debra of Millbury, and Douglas and his wife Lynn of West Palm Beach Fl and several nieces and nephews. Sandy's father James Wright died last April. Born in Newton, Sandy was a 1974 graduate of Framingham South High School. She attended Stetson University in Deland Fl and Bentley College of Waltham. Sandy Worked as an accountant for Robsham Industries of Framingham for 10 years before opening a day care in her home in 1989. Sandy cared for many children in her home over a period of 16 years until she had to close because of her illness last April. Sandy was a tax preparer for many years and served on the School committees of the Tantasqua Regional High School, and the Holland Elementary School for many years. Sandy was active in the Friends of Holland Library and was a former co-chairperson for the Holland Old Home Day events. Sandy will be remembered as a beloved sister in Christ by her church family at Holland Congregational Church where she faithfully served as a Deaconess and Discipler. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 4pm in the Auditorium of Tantasqua High School followed by burial at Holland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8pm at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St Southbridge. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Sandy's memory to the Holland Congregational Church Building Fund 11 Sturbridge Rd Holland 01521 or to the American Cancer Society New England Division 30 Speen St. Framingham Ma 01701 or to the Sandy Smith Children Education Fund C/O Southbridge Credit Union P.O.Box 307 Fiskdale Ma 01518
