SOUTHBRIDGE: Sandra Ann LaFlash, 51, of Charlton St. died, Tuesday, Sept.24 unexpectedly at Day Kimball Hospital as a result of an acute illness.
She leaves her daughter Ashley J. Lachapelle of Woodstock, CT, her son Richard W. Roy III of New Port Richey, FL, her father Walter LaFlash of Millbury, MA, 4 sisters Kim Gogonis of Spring Hill, FL, Robin Zmayefski of Pomfret, CT, Kelly LaFlash of New Port Richey, FL, Carrie Guntram of FL, and a grandson Gavin Roy of Sturbridge, MA.
She was born in Southbridge, MA, the daughter of the late Ruth (Bertrand) LaFlash and lived in the area all her life.
Sandy enjoyed the sandy shores at Galilee Beach and liked to shop for collectables. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Calling hours are 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, Oct. 7, in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Charlton St. Southbridge.
