Ruth Carrier

Southbridge: Ruth M. (Lemoine) Carrier, 88, of Dresser Park, Main St. died Monday, April 25, at UMASS Memorial Medical Center after being stricken ill at home. Her husband Raymond Carrier died in 1965. She leaves a daughter Nadine M. and her husband Gene Fowble of Southbridge; a son George R. Carrier of San Diego, Calf.; eight grandchildren,Donna Raymond, Steven, Scott, Dawn, Lynn, Shelly, Robert seven great grandchildren Andrew, Isabelle, Alyssa, Christhian, Steven Jr., Selena, Brandon and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers Laurier Lemoine and George Lemoine, and two sisters Jeannette Webber and Irene Lemoine. Born in Southbridge she was the daughter of Ferdinand and Orise (Craite) Lemoine, lived in Rochester NY, graduated from Monroe High School, then returned to Southbridge in 1940. She was a member of Notre Dame Parish and the Harrington Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading. Her funeral will be held at TEN am Thursday, April 28 at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St. Southbridge. There are no calling hours.
