SOUTHBRIDGE: Ruby Eva Prince of Breakneck RD, died at age 98 on June 29, 2012 in Southbridge MA. Born on October 29, 1914 to Byron and Blanche Chaffee in Charlton, MA. She was the last surviving of six siblings. She graduated from Charlton High School and was the last remaining of her class. Ruby was employed by the American Optical Company where she was the secretary to the president.
She married Bernard Leon“Doc”Prince "since deceased" in 1945. They owned and operated Prince Domestic and Business Service and The Broken Wheel Restaurant in Southbridge, MA. for over 20 years. She is survived by her two sons, William F. Prince and Barry W. Prince of Southbridge, along with her daughter in laws Diane and Carol, four grandchildren, Aaron, Angela,Nathan and Erica also great grand children, nephews and nieces.
Ruby was well known in the Southbridge community where she lived a long and happy life.
We will all miss her and she will remain in our memories.
