SOUTHBRIDGE: Ronald “Joe” Frank, 51, of Summer St. died, Saturday, May 15th , in his home after a short illness with cancer. He leaves his wife Gail (Kangas) Frank, his 6 year old daughter Kayla Frank, his mother Jean Ann Robidoux of Charlton, his step mother Shirley Frank of Southbridge, 3 brothers Timothy Frank and James Frank both of Colorado, 4 sisters Patricia Gregory of NH, Christine Debeau of Southbridge, Carol Toth of North Brookfield, Vicki Burlingame of Charlton, his Godchildren Paul Anderson and Broke Basara, his two close friends Bob and Jessica, his step sister Shirley and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Frank.
He was born in Maine the son of the late Ronald J. Frank Sr. and lived in the area many years. He graduated from Southbridge High School and Salter College. He served in the US Army stationed in Germany.
Joe worked at Wal-Mart in Sturbridge, where he was the sporting goods department manager and at one time he was the doorman for Lynda’s in Southbridge. He belonged to the Southbridge Pool League.
He enjoyed playing softball, hunting and loved to take his daughter fishing.
Calling hours are 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Wednesday, May 19, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A funeral service will take place at 8:00PM in the funeral home.
