Robert Dickinson

December 15, 1910 — October 18, 2004

Sturbridge: Robert A. Dickinson 93, formerly of Shephard Rd. died Oct. 18, in Charlton Manor Rest Home. His wife of seventy two years died May 26, 2003. He leaves several nephews and nieces. His daughter Jane Sweeny and two of his grandchildren Harold Ringe and Donna Ringe were all killed in an automobile accident in 1973, and another grandchild Guy Ringe died in a swimming pool accident in 1971. He was also predeceased by four brothers Champion, Charles, Fred, Edward, and six sisters, Josephine Crafts, Dorothy Ethier, Louise Dickinson, Mae Bardwell, Marion Dickinson and his twin sister Ruth Driscoll. Born in North Hatfield, the son of Edward and Elvira (McKwen) Dickinson, he lived in the area most of his life. He retired from Russell Harrington Cutlery after forty one years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. A graveside service will be held at ELEVEN AM, Saturday April 16, in North Cemetery, Maple St. Sturbridge.
