CHARLTON: Rita J. (Chartier) Bond 87, of North Main St. died Tuesday, July 10 at her home after an illness. Her husband earl Bond died March 6, 2001.
She leaves 2 sons Earl R. Bond Jr. of Charlton and Roger D. Bond of Brookfield. Her sister Flora Fuller of Sturbridge, 3 grandchildren Cindy Bond, Robin Bond, Joseph Bond 3 great grandchildren Roxanne Duquette and her husband Brett, Kendra Bond and her fiancé Matthew Dodge, Marissa Zayes and her boyfriend David Ruth, 6 great great grandchildren, Kylie Kertley, Zoe Bond, Dunkin Duquette, Joslyn Bond Juliette Bond, Grayson Dodge.
She was born in Pawtucket, RI the daughter of Homidas and Rosalie (Beltat) Chartier and lived in the Charlton area most of her life.
She retired from Worcester Knitting and previously worked at Charlton Woolen Mill.
She enjoyed her family and and her home. At onetime she enjoyed traveling and recently took a trip to Alaska.
Her funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 12, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.
Calling hours are 6 to 8PM on Wednesday July,11 in the Funeral Home.
