WORCESTER-CHARLTON
Regina M. (Luszczynski) Lawendowski, formally of 25 Endicott Street, passed away after
a short illness of Friday, August 26th at the Atrium, in Jacksonville, Fl.
She was married for forty six years to the late Joseph C. Lawendowski, who died in 1987.
Mrs. Lawendowski was born in Syracuse, NY the daughter of Anthony and Bertha
(Makowski) Luszczynski, and then lived in Worcester for most of her life.
She leaves four sons: Joseph R. Lawendowski and his wife Marilyn of Charlton, Raymond
Lawendowski and his wife Diane, of Jacksonville, Fl; Thomas Lawendowski and his wife
Lucy, of So. Mills, NC and Paul and his wife Linda of Long Beach, Ca,; a sister Helen
Chadwick of Worcester, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by granddaughter, Alyson M. Lawendowski of Charlton, a great
grandchild Corey Lawendowski of Florida and four brothers, Norbert, Lucian, Chester, and
Elwin, and two sisters Alfreda Luszczynski, and Pola Toczko.
She will be forever missed by her family and friends, but they will always recall her wit,
her feistiness, her politics, and most of all her endless devotion to all of them.
A memorial Mass will be held at TEN AM Saturday, Oct 1, in ST. Joseph Church, H.
Putnam Rd. Extension. Charlton. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
There are no calling hours.
