STRURBRIDGE: Ralph F. Kruegar, Sr. 87, of died Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Harrington Hospital after an illness.
His wife Margaret (Hudec) Kruegar died in December 16, 1995.
He leaves a son Ralph F. Kruegar Jr. of Sturbridge, 3 daughters Debbie Thomas of Spring Valley, CA, Ruth Kruegar of Southbridge, Sandra Farmer of Fitchburg, 6 grandchildren Leona, Anna, Theresa, Kevin, Cary, Charlie.
He was born in Dudley, the son of the late Carl and Anna (Anderson) Kruegar and lived in Dudley, Southbridge before moving to Sturbridge.
Ralph graduated from Cole Trade High School. He worked on the family chicken farm in Dudley for many years and then worked as a self employed carpenter for several years.
He was a member of the NRA and former member of the Dudley Grange. He enjoyed hunting, fishing but most of all he enjoyed caring for his family.
Calling hours are 9:30 to 11:00AM Tuesday, Oct 7, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A service will be held at 11:00AM in the funeral home following the calling hours. Burial will follow at Corbin Cemetery, Dudley.
