SOUTHBRIDGE: Quinton A. Knight, 77, formerly Adeline St. died Saturday, November 3rd after a long illness. His wife of 40 years Nancy (Woods) Knight, died Nov. 17, 1996. He leaves a son George A. Knight and his wife Michelle of No. Grosvenordale, Ct. two daughters Karen Deary and her husband Mark of Webster, Laurie Buma and her husband James of Uxbridge, two sisters Lorraine Burrows of So. Lancaster, Georgia Carter of Bermuda, seven grandchildren, Kelly, Calvin, Sean, Ellen, Alexis, Samantha, Catherine, and several nephews and nieces.
A brother Calvin H. Knight of Bermuda died in 1987.
He was born in Southampton, West Bermuda the son of Albert E. and Mary E (Roberts) Knight and lived in Bermuda until moving to the Charlton-Southbridge area in 1956.
He attended Southampton, Bermuda, Glebe School. He served in Her Majesties Service in the British Royal Navy and the army in the Bermuda Regimen. While in Bermuda he worked as a cook and in worked in construction. After moving to the area he worked many years for Parc Industries and Goodhall\'s Garage in Union, CT.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, Nov. 7th in the Belanger-Bullard funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
