Putnam Jones

CHARLTON: Putnam " Bud" P. Jones, Jr., 62, of Bond Road, Charlton, died February 15th in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boston. He leaves a son, Jeffrey Jones and his wife Cynthhia, of Charlton; a daughter, Kimberly Jones of Southbridge; his father, Putnam P. Jones, Sr., of Charlton; his former wife and friend, Susan (Divoll) Jones of Sturbridge; five brothers, Robert Jones of Huddelston, VA, James Jones of Charlton, Scott Jones of Colorado, Kevin Jones of Fla.; and Richard Jones of Auburn; two sisters, Sally Mahan of Charlton, Susan McKinstry of Charlton; five grandchildren, Kelly Christian, Zachary Christian, Abigayle Jones, Garrett Jones, and Grace Jones; and several nephews and nieces. A daughter, Kelly Jean Jones, died in 1970. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Norma (Leno) Jones, who died in 1997. He was a heavy equipment machine operator for R. H. White for many years. He was a member of the Charlton Beagle Club. He enjoyed playing softball and pitch. His funeral will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 20th in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge. Burial following at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton. Calling hours are 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, February 19th in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
