EASTFORD, CT – Pauline (Warchol) Beck, 91, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in her grandson’s home after a long illness.  Her husband, Albert E. Beck, died in 1989.  She leaves one son, Raymond L. Beck, and his wife, Loretta, of Eastford; her grandson, Raymond A. Beck, and his wife, Anne; a great-grandson, Brandon Suprenant, of Eastford and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Walter Warchol.

She was born on January 15, 1919, in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Bis) Warchol, and moved to Eastford in 1932.  She graduated from Woodstock Academy, class of 1936.  She lived in Eastford and in Southbridge, MA her entire life.  Mrs. Beck and her husband enjoyed gardening and putting on great Holiday meals.  She was a wonderful cook and homemaker.  She was a very loving and caring person, and the best mother that a son could ask for.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, March 8, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA.  Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery, 979 Main St., Willimantic, CT.  There are no calling hours.  An online guestbook is available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
