Paul E. Cahill

Paul Cahill, aged 69, of Hamilton St., passed away on June 13th at Hartford Hospital following an illness. He is survived by his son Paul Cahill, his two daughters Jessica Cahill and Ashley Cahill, his son-in-law William Schaible, his brother Bill Cahill and his wife Eleanor of Massachusetts, and his four sisters Mary Anne O'Connell and her husband Tom of Michigan, Jane Lisauskas and her husband Rich of Maine, Liz Cahill of Massachusetts, Maggie Cahill and her husband Bruce of Rhode Island, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Beth Cahill in April of 2024, and his brother Patrick Cahill in 2002. 

Born in Boston to John and Mary (Carroll) Cahill, Paul spent most of his life in the Worcester area, and later raised his family in Southbridge. He was an accomplished machine operator and dedicated many years to Schotts Fiber Optics. Paul cherished moments spent over coffee with loved ones, family camping adventures, and activities with his dogs Sasha, Mia and Finnegan. Recalling his youthful travels around the globe also brought him great joy.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Paul will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 27th at St. Mary's Church (St. John Paul II Parish) located at 263 Hamilton Street, Southbridge. Prior to the service, calling hours will take place from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home on 51 Marcy St., Southbridge on Thursday, June 27th.
