SOUTHBRIDGE: Nina D. (Hammond) Perrin-Tucker, 80, of Clark St. died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at her home. Her first husband Robert L. Perrin died in 1972 and her second husband Richard W. Tucker died in 1989. She leaves her children, Patricia A. Lamica and her husband Rossin of Hazel Green, AL formerly of Southbridge, Carol C. Trinque and her husband Denis of Southbridge, Varrell M. Perrin of Southbridge, Louis J. Perrin of Thompson, CT and Reggie G. Perrin of New York; five brothers and sisters Robert Hammond, Richard Hammond, William Hammond, Nancy Bertrand and Margaret McDonald all of upstate New York. She leaves 13 grandchildren Penny Lamica, Jody Lamica, Brandy Trinque, Shawn Perrin, Kerry Perrin, and Samantha Perrin all of Southbridge, Cory Lamica of Rutland, Army SFC Louis J. Perrin of Dudley, Robert Perrin of Pittsfield, Andrew Lamica of New Market, AL, Lynette Lamica of Hazel Green, AL, Army PFC Tyler R. Trinque stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. And 12 great grandchildren and one soon to arrive.
She was predeceased by a brother Alvin Hammond and a granddaughter Melissa Lamica.
She was born in Randolph, VT, the daughter of Alec and Marion (Kerry) Hammond. She graduated from Randolph High School.
Nina will be greatly missed by all who knew her in life. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards. She was known for her self-taught cake making, producing many beautiful cakes over the years including wedding and anniversary cakes. She enjoyed traveling to New York, Vermont and had the time of her life traveling to Walt Disney World in Florida with her daughter Pat and grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 4th at 3:00PM in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA. There are no calling hours.
