SOUTHBRIDGE: Nadine Marie Fowble, 80 years old, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024, at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, Massachusetts.
She was born on November 25, 1943 in Southbridge, MA to Raymond and Ruth (Lemoine) Carrier. Nadine was a cherished lifelong resident of Southbridge and a proud graduate of Notre Dame High School in 1962.
At a dance, she met the love of her life, Gene Fowble, whom she married at Notre Dame Church on April 16, 1966. Nadine was a dedicated parishioner of St. John Paul II Parish (formerly Notre Dame Church). She found joy in being a devoted homemaker and worked as a bank teller at Southbridge Credit Union for many years.
Nadine will be remembered most for her role as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Her kindness and thoughtfulness brightened the lives of all who knew her. She found immense happiness in the company of her family and friends.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Gene Fowble; her daughter Donna and her husband Steven Gibson of Walpole, Massachusetts; three sons: Steve and his wife Xiomara of San Antonio, Texas; Raymond and his wife Trish of Southbridge, Massachusetts; and Scott and his wife Mary of Jackson, Georgia. In addition to her immediate family members, she is survived by her brother George Carrier of San Diego, California; as well as grandchildren: Brittany, Steven Jr., Selena, Alyssa, Andrew, Isabelle, Sophia and her great grandchild Emma. several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Cristhian.
Visitation will take place from 8:00-9:30 am on May 4 at Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home located at 51 Marcy Street in Southbridge.
The Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 4 at St. John Paul II Parish (Notre Dame Church) on 446 Main Street in Southbridge. Burial at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to DAV by mailing them to Department of MA Service Funds INC at 3 Victory Lane in Gardner, MA 01440.
