Spencer: Michael B. McKinstry,74, loving husband, father, and grandfather, of Spencer, passed away on May 13, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness. He was surrounded by those he held most dear at the time of his passing.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy M. (Syriac) McKinstry; his son William F. McKinstry of Henniker, NH; his daughter Michelle T. (McKinstry) Mustered; son in-law Anthony P. Mustered; and 3 grandchildren, Rowan, Brayden and Nevan all who reside in North Pole Alaska. His Sisters Joyce M. Bressem of Massachusetts, Karen A. Gauthier of New York; Brothers Joseph I. McKinstry of Texas, Neal V. McKinstry of Pennsylvania, and Glenn F. McKinstry of Maine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael was born in Southbridge on March 23, 1948, to the late Leonard D. McKinstry and Lorraine (Vincent) McKinstry and is also preceded in death by his brother Leonard David McKinstry.
Michael spent his life in the central Massachusetts area, building his home and raising his family in Spencer Mass since 1974. He worked faithfully for the Cranston Print Works Textile Company in various roles for 35 years. Michael was happiest when spending time with his family and took great pride in being the first of his family to set down permanent roots. He enjoyed cooking, sharing and creating recipes, reading, helping those in need, and spending time in nature.
"If we have forgotten to show our gratitude enough for all the things you did, we're thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along how very much you meant to us." Love lives on.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 16th at 11AM, in the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St Southbridge, MA with a reception immediately following at La Salle Reception Center, 444 Main St. Southbridge, MA
