Maxine Stanton-Cox

February 27, 1923 — December 31, 2014

�WARE/BRIMFIELD: Maxine M. (Sherman) Stanton-Cox, 91, died Dec. 31, in Palmer Healthcare Center from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

Born in Ashtabula, Ohio she was the daughter of Lester S. and Rosella (Stocking) Sherman. 

She was predeceased by her husband William B. Cox and a son James S. Stanton. 
She is survived by a son David A. Stanton of Millersville, MD,  a daughter Susan Raymond of Ware, a step-daughter Ellen Holley of Putnam, CT, and a step-son Ward Cox of Brimfield, MA, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Maxine was a 70 member of Medina Chapter #266 Order of eastern Star. She was past Regent of the Jedediah Foster Chapter of D.A.R.

She was a member of the Sturbridge Federated Church. 

At her request there will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held in Brimfield Cemetery.
