SOUTHBRIDGE: Martin Lopez Figueroa, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.
Martin leaves behind his mother Ada Figueroa of Southbridge, his sisters Ada Lopez and her husband Reynaldo of Ponce, PR, Mirna Lopez of Juana Diaz, P.R., Celines Lopez of Ponce, PR., Omayra Lopez and her husband Victor of Southbridge, MA, Elvia Lopez and her husband Rodolfo of Southbridge, MA. His brothers Miguel Alvarado and his wife Josefina of Punto Oro, PR., Luis Lopez and his wife Dianne of Atlantic City, NJ. He also leaves twenty-three nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Martin was born in Ponce, PR on December 29,1957. He was predeceased by his father Martin Lopez who passed on June 23, 2013 of Ponce, PR.; his sister Frances Lopez who passed on April 17,2020 of Ponce, PR.; and his nephew Jerrycob Medina who passed on May 19,2019 of Southbridge, MA.
Martin was a good loving son who enjoyed being around friends and family and protecting them was his priority. He loved listening to salsa music, dancing it and playing the drums was his favorite hobby. We will all truly miss him.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 5-6PM. Followed by a funeral service at 6PM, at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
