SOUTHBRIDGE: Mark S. Arsenault, age 75, of Therese Ave, passed away on Saturday, September 7, following an illness.

 He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Jeanne (Haurd) Arsenault; his three daughters, Jessica Anctil of Worcester, Marcy Menard of Southbridge, and Meagan Bryie of Mansfield, CT; his son, Brendon Casey of Putnam, CT; and three brothers, Dana Arsenault of Southbridge, Chris Arsenault of Douglas, and Michael Arsenault of Georgia. He also leaves behind his sister, Gayle Fierro of Fiskdale; seven grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. 

Mark was predeceased by his brothers Timothy, Gary, Joey, Shawn, and his sister, Melissa Donnell.

 Born in Worcester, Mark was the son of the late Joseph and Alice (Labonte) Arsenault, and he spent his entire life in the area.

 He graduated from Cole Trade High School, where he studied machine shop, and later served honorably in the U.S. Navy aboard the DE-1022 Destroyer and the DE-858 Destroyer during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he attended Becker Jr. College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business. 

Mark had a successful career, working for Gentex for 19 years, and previously for American Optical, where he also served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. 

His faith was important to him, and he was a devoted member of the Elm Street Congregational Church, contributing to church maintenance for five years.

 In addition to his many achievements, Mark cherished his time spent gardening, walking, and fishing. He was a passionate fan of Boston sports, particularly wrestling. 

The family expresses their gratitude to Compassus Hospice in Auburn for the compassionate care provided to Mark during his final days.

 Mark's funeral will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, at the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, located at 51 Marcy St., Southbridge, MA. 

Calling hours are scheduled for Friday, September 13, from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
