HOLLAND: Marilyn (Merton) Blundell, 87, of Mashapaug Rd. died Friday, April 7, in Southbridge Rehabilitation. Her husband Alfred Blundell died in 2002.
She leaves a son Theodore Blundell and his wife Jamie of Naperville, IL. A daughter Stephanie Gardner and her longtime companion David Ingraham of Wethersfield, CT. 3 grandchildren her caretaker Tracie Gardner and he partner Melissa Benson both of Holland, Tim and his wife Chris of Wethersfield, CT. and Phil Blundell of Belfast, Ireland and a great grandson Max.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter Stacey Blundell and a brothers Henry Merton, Arnold Dalaba.
Marilyn was born in Saratoga Springs, NY the daughter of Harry and Larita (Sigsby) Merton and lived in Porter, Texas before moving to Holland in 1998.
She enjoyed lunches with her friends, the cat Joby, traveling and loved animals.
The family would like to thank Fran Gallo for her care and compassion throughout the years.
A life celebration will be held Sunday, April 30, from 1 to 3PM at the Holland Community Center, 40 Brimfield Road, Holland.
