SOUTHBRIDGE: Marcelino Miranda, 80, of Hamilton Street, died Sunday, Dec. 17, in his home after an illness. He leaves his wife 57 years, Carmen Miranda, three sons Jose Miranda and Dario Miranda both of Southbridge, Julio Miranda of Puerto Rico, eight daughters, Maria Miranda, Lourdes Miranda, Aida Miranda, Lucy Miranda, Mary Aida all of Southbridge, Awilda Miranda Paulita Miranda both of Puerto Rico, Jacinta Miranda of Puerto Rico, four brothers Lucas Miranda, Cheo Miranda both of Pennsylvania, Juan Miranda of Spencer, Jose Miranda of Worcester, four sisters, Amelia Miranda, Gladys Miranda, Felin Miranda, Maria Miranda all of Puerto Rico, 36 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son Dario Miranda, a daughter Julia Miranda, a brother Agapito Miranda, a sister Carmen Miranda, and a grandson Jose Miranda. He was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico and lived her since 1985. He worked in the agriculture industry in Puerto Rico and moved to Southbridge after retirement in 1985. He was a member of St. Maryâ??s parish. He enjoyed Listening to music, wrestling and baseball. His funeral will held Thursday, Dec. 21, from the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, followed with a Mass at TEN am in St. Maryâ??s Church, Hamilton St. Burial will follow in St. Maryâ??s Cemetery.
