CHARLTON: Louise (Goldsmith) Gagnon, 91 died Sunday June 24, at Overlook Healthcare in Charlton. Her husband Armand Gagnon died in 1992.
She leaves two daughters Sharon Tourtellotte and Beverly Simmons, 5 step children Lorraine Haddad Roger Gagnon Raymond Gagnon Russell Gagnon Diane Faucher, grandchild, great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Born in York, Maine she was the daughter of Oliver J. and Rosalina (Stewart) Goldsmith and lived in the area many years.
She worked at the Charlton Woolen Mills retired as a home health aide from the Good Samaritans in Webster
She was a member of the Charlton City Methodist Church and once belonged to it’s Women’s Fellowship.
She enjoyed hobbies such as painting, drawing, knitting and crocheting.
While living at the Overlook she enjoyed being with other residents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton
There are no calling hours.
Belanger-Bullard funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements.
