Lois Tracy

October 8, 1936 — February 10, 2015

Lois C. Tracy passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the age of 78. She leaves 3 nephews: John Gauvin and his wife Cheryl of Webster, James Tracy and his wife Ann of Raymond, NH and Thomas Tracy and his wife Lisa of Pelham, NH; 6 nieces: Patty Smith and her husband Richard of Sterling, CT, Betty Eszes and her husband Michael "Mickey" of Dudley, Lynda Schultz of Dudley, Lori Gauvin of Southbridge, Jayne Dusek and her husband Richard of Ayer and Donna Demers and her husband Mike of Pelham, NH; a brother, Holmes Tracy,Jr. and his wife Barbara of Pelham, NH; a sister, Beverly Gauvin of Southbridge, 15 great nieces and nephews and special thanks to her dear friend Pamela Beauregard.

Lois was born in Worcester the daughter of, Holmes and Alice (Watson) Tracy, Sr. and raised in Dudley where she lived all her life in the family home of three generations. She graduated Bartlett High School in 1954, worked for a greeting card company for many years before earning her CNA and working for the Masonic Home for 35 years until her retirement.

A member of the First Congregational Church of Dudley and the Black Tavern Historical Society, she enjoyed gardening her farmland, watching the deer, turkeys, birds and other wildlife. She cherished her dog "Honey" Pebbles who was her best friend.

A funeral service will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 1:00PM in the First Congregational Church, 135 Center Road, Dudley, MA 01571. Calling hours will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Hospital of Webster, 34 Thompson Road, Webster, MA 01570 or to the First Congregational Church, 135 Center Road, Dudley, MA 01571.
