SOUTHBRIDGE: Linda D. Regis, 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Southbridge on March 11, 2021. Linda was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Bertha (Cudworth) Dubreuil. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 30 years Leo Stanley Regis, Jr. Linda was raised in Southbridge and was a graduate of Mary E. Wells High School. After graduation she became a legal secretary at the prominent Worcester law firm of San Clemente, Italiano, & Conlin where she worked until her retirement.
She leaves behind three first cousins; Marvin Cook of Lakewood Ranch, FL; Shirley (Duprey) Grenon of Holden; Barbara (Egan) Laprade of Charlton; step daughters Linda (Regis) Neff of Charlton; Susanne Regis of Charlton: five step grandchildren and eleven step great granchildren. She also leaves behind her loving Goddaughter Kathleen (Glodis) Poehler of Martha’s Vineyard. Linda loved to travel and shop. She took many trips to visit relatives including a trip to watch the launch of a manned space flight at Cape Canaveral. She loved dining at Boston restaurants and going to theater performances – particularly the Phantom of the Opera and Mama Mia. Linda was devoted to family and friends and loved holiday decorating and entertaining.
There will be a one hour viewing and short service at the funeral home at 10 AM followed by graveside prayers at Oak Ridge Cemetery on Wednesday, March 17, leaving from the Belanger-Bullard funeral home at 11:30 AM. Facial covering and social distancing is expected.
