Lillian Pelland

UXBRIDGE: Lillian (Belanger) Pelland, 92 formerly of Crown and Eagle died Saturday, Aug, 6 at UMASS. Her husband Rene “Pete” Pelland died in Sept. 20,1972; her daughters Rene Guillaume died July 18, 1992 and Adel Williams died in Oct. 30, 2013. She was also predeceased by her brother Frederick Belanger who died on May 8, 2011 She leaves a brother Ovila “Amza” Belanger of Mendon, 4 grandchildren: Haley, Shelby, Corey, & Tiffany, and a great granddaughter, Adeline.  Also many nieces and nephews.   Lil was born on Jan. 20, 1924 the daughter of Philip and Eva (Anger) Belanger and lived in the area all her life. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and was a member of the Good Shepherd Bereavement Committee. Along with her husband Pete they owned and operated Pelland Brothers Cleaners and Coin-op in Uxbridge for many years. At one time she worked for Fenwal electronics and part time at Baker’s Department Store.   Her funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, Aug.12, in Good Shepherd Church, Linwood Street, Linwood section of Uxbridge. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 in the church prior to the Mass.
