CHARLTON: Lawrence Dunn, 89, of Schoolhouse Road died Wednesday, March 30 in Webster Manor after an illness.
He was predeceased by his wife of fifty-two years, Audrey (Mosher) Dunn in 2001.
Lawrence is survived by his children: Mitchell Dunn and his wife Maxine of Charlton; Gail Dunn and his wife Denise of Charlton, Wayland Dunn of Sturbridge, Valerie Savoie of Southbridge, Cameron Dunn and his wife Kathy of Tennessee, Marlon Dunn and his wife Trish Dionne of Southbridge, Melody Steppic and her companion Mark Soper of Southbridge, James Dunn and his wife Debbie of Sturbridge, TammyJo Dunn of Charlton and Eugene Mosher of Kentucky, twenty-five grandchildren: Brandy Dunn, Beckie Dunn, Bonnie Drake, Tracey Michaelson, Matthew Dunn, Nicole Brandisi, Lawrence Dunn, Carey Dunn, Stacey Dunn, Jeremy Savoie, Crystal McGuire, Joshua Savoie, Tiffany Dunn, Albert Dionne, Denielle Dionne, Allison Steppic, Ashley Steppic, Andrea Steppic, Eilish Dunn, Sonia Dunn, Jenastina Dunn, Kaliana Gonzalez, and Jauzalina Gonzalez; thirty four great-grandchildren: Shawnie Boyce, Alyssa Delgado, Kalina Delgado, Makayla Drake, Bryce Michaelson, Austin Michaelson, Brayden Michaelson, Felicia Dunn, Kyle Dunn, Olivia Dunn, Emily Brandisi, Tyler Brandisi, Grace Dunn, Cathrynn Dunn, Alex Dunn, Raegan Dunn, Brady Dunn, Christopher Vertefiulle, Jeszenia McGuire, Kason McGuire, Christian Savoie, Samantha Savoie, Makayla Savoie, Kierra Dunn, Sierra Dunn, Emilia Raimondi, Amari Pereira, Aleya Pereira, Jamison Proulx, Peyton Rodriguez, Aaisley Torres and Anaiah Torres; and 1 great-great grandson: Cameron Savoie
Lawrence is predeceased by his grandson: Mitchell Dunn Jr. in 1970, his great-granddaughter Caitlin Michaelson in 1995, his daughter in law: Carol Dunn and son in law: Bob Savoie.
Lawrence was born August 13, 1926 in Troy, Vermont to the late Daniel and Linda (Whipple) Dunn.
Lawrence and Audrey moved to Charlton in 1955, where he worked for Dresser Hill Farm. He worked for the NU Car Carriers as owner and operator. Following retirement, he drove a school bus for Laidlaw until 2009. Lawrence was an active parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Charlton, where he was an usher. He enjoyed tinkering and collecting and was mechanically inclined.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 4th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H. Putnam Road Ext., Charlton, MA.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 3rd from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA.
