Kim lived in Kingfield with her husband Byron "Bud" Philbrick III and three dogs, Sawyer, Sheila, and Fenway. She was born on August 27, 1967, in Southbridge, MA, the daughter of Butch and Vivian (Blood) Jackson. Kim graduated from Tantasqua High School in 1985. Before moving to Maine, Kim worked at the Picadilly Pub and the Public House in Sturbridge for several years. She moved to Maine to work at Sugarloaf USA in 1991 and decided to make the area her home. She was a longtime employee at Gepetto' s and The Bag at Sugarloaf.
Kim approached life with her arms wide open and drew people to her. Open and friendly, Kim carried her childhood friends with her throughout her life and continued to make new ones. She loved the outdoors, often rollerblading, skiing, or walking her dogs. She became an avid Red Sox fan upon her marriage to Bud and was often seen wearing the Boston team logo. Most of all, Kim loved to be with her nieces and nephews, parents, close friends, and her husband. Her laugh made us all laugh. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
