SOUTHBRIDGE: Josefina Hernandez, 59, of Oliver St. died Tuesday March 27, at home after being stricken ill. She leaves her husband Fundador Figueroa Sr., three sons Jose Figueroa, Fundador â??Congoâ? Figueroa Jr. and Braulio Figueroa all of Southbridge, two daughters Ana Figueroa of Puerto Rico, Ruth M. Figueroa of Southbridge. She also leaves four sisters Mary Vera, Josefina Vera both of Puerto Rico, Carmen Millan, Cecilia Rivera both of Southbridge, seven brothers Samuel Rivera, Daniel Rivera, David Rivera, Ezequiel Rivera, Isaias Rivera, Ramon Rivera, Moises Rivera all of Southbridge, fourteen grandchildren, one great grandson, and many nephews and nieces.
She was born Jan. 7, 1948, in Manati, PR the daughter of Jose Vera and Maria Hernandez and lived in Southbridge twenty one years. She was a member of Iglesia de Dios Mission Board. She enjoyed her family and was very active with her extended church family.
Her funeral will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, April 2nd in Iglesia Pentecostal del Dios Vivo Church, 129 Marcy St. Southbridge. Calling hours are 5:00PM to 9:00PM Sunday, April, 1st in the church.
