SOUTHBIDGE/SPENCER; Jose Rivera, 32, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at UMASS Medical Center a month long illness. He leaves his wife of 8 years Jennifer (Geramo) Rivera, 2 sons Christian Rivera, Jeremias Rivera, 4 daughters Christina Rivera, Valentina Rivera, Angelina Rivera, Evalina Rivera all at home, his parents Jose M. and Milagros (Rivera0Rivera of Spencer, 3 brothers Jose Lito Rivera of Worcester, Jose M. Rivera of Southbridge, Jose L. Rivera of Leicester, a sister Toninta Rivera of Boston, nephews and nieces.
Jose graduated from Southbridge High School. He drove taxi cabs until his illness.
He enjoyed his church and singing in the choir.
His funeral will be held at 10AM, Monday, August 6, at 10:00AM in Iglesias Pentecostal del Dios Vivo, 125 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
