Jorge Luis Velez Torres

SOUTHBRIDGE:  Jorge Luis Velez Torres, of Southbridge, passed away on November 7, 2022, at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge at the age of 57.

Jorge is survived by his loving girlfriend and best friend of 17 years Dawn Walley of Southbridge; Two sons Xavier and his two daughters, and Joel of Puerto Rico; Three stepdaughters Rebecka, Daniele, Gayle; stepson Morgan; loving grandchildren Aria, Roman, Marcello; Brothers Carlos of Puerto Rico, Raymond of New York, and his sister Helen of Puerto Rico; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jorge Torres Velez was born in Orocovis, in Puerto Rico son to the late Juan Bautista Velez and Blanca Esther Torres.

Jorge worked as a baker at Superior Bakery in Southbridge, and several other bakeries throughout the years. 

He will sadly be missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. He was a wonderful father, friend and an amazing grandfather.

Private services were held at the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge, MA 01550

Burial was held on Monday November 19, 2022, at Orocovis cemetery in Puerto Rico.
