SOUTHBRIDGE: Jorge A. Cordero, 81, of Coombs Street died Thursday, February 27 at St. Vincent’s Hospital from injuries he sustained as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Dolores B. (Clavijo) Cordero; 3 sons: Jorge Cordero of Ecuador, Carlos Cordero of Southbridge, Angel Cordero of Ecuador; a daughter, Maria Ortiz of Southbridge; a brother, David Cordero of Ecuador; three sister: Blanca Cordero, Carlota Cordero and Jesus Cordero all of Ecuador; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was born in Chone, Ecuador and moved to Southbridge many years ago. He retired from Aero Corporation in Southbridge where he worked for ten years. He enjoyed baseball, football, computer games and flea markets.
His funeral will be held in Jardines de La Esperanza, Guayaquil, Ecuador.
