Plainfield/Southbridge: Joan (Collings) Davis, 65, of Colonial Rd., Plainfield, CT. died, Sunday, Jan. 20 at UMASS Memorial Hospital after an illness. Her husband Francis Davis died in 2010.
She leaves her son Francis “Chip” Davis of Plainfield, Ct; her daughter Keri Hossenni and her husband Shawn of Danville, Il; her brother Arlen Collings of Calf; twin grandsons Kasper and Xavier and nephers and nieces.
She was born in Southbridge the daughter of Walter and Beatrice (Arnold) Collings. She retired from Mary R. Fisher School in 2010 after 30 years of service. She enjoyed reading and her family.
Her funeral will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Calling hours are 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the funeral home.
