Jo-Ann M. Lundstrom

Southbridge…Jo-Ann M. (Kayer) Lundstrom, 83, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 18, 2024.

She leaves her three sons: Glen and his wife Michele of Dudley, Keith and his wife Lisa of Southbridge, and Todd and his wife Kristen of Dudley, and ten grandchildren: Timothy and his wife Alicia, Tyler and his wife Audrea, Alyssa and her husband Mark, Nathaniel and his wife Patricia, Emily and Lauren, and eight great grandchildren: Hazel, Freya, Canyon, Oliver, Milo, Beckett, Archer and Mckenzie.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Lundstrom and lived in Southbridge since 1973. She was a pre-school teacher at the YMCA in Southbridge for many years and was a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church of Southbridge and in later years, Holland Congregational Church. 

As part of her ministry, she did counseling, sign language and was known to be a prayer warrior. Her two great loves being God and her family, whom she spent most of her time with. She loved to laugh and joke, especially with her grandchildren who lovingly called her G. She enjoyed many hobbies: metal detecting, cake decorating and baking, photography, scrapbooking and card making to name a few. She spent countless summers at the Cape. But wherever she went she spoke the gospel, spread kindness and made friends, many of whom became pen pals. If you ever received one of her cards or letters, you’d see her most loved phrase, “Keep On Looking Up”. A woman of faith, who walked with the Lord, and loved both gently and fiercely. Every part of her pointing to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A private funeral service was held at Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home. 

A memorial service to celebrate Jo-Ann’s life will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Southbridge on January 18th, 2025 @ 11am. Refreshments will be served following the service.
