Jane attended Charlton schools from grades 1-1, then attended Becker Junior College for about a year and was studying merchandising in business. Jane was very interested in clothing, fashion and design. She developed a keen eye in spotting clothing trends and could determine the best quality in garments. This became her hobby, and she loved shopping in stores to find the best clothes at a reasonable price. Jane loved horses growing up as a teenager. She owned a horse named Lady, which was an American Saddle Bred. She eventually had to sell her due to her allergies to horsehair, much to her regret. She often talked about her love of horses as she grew up. Her dad owned several Shetland ponies in the 1960s also, which he used to give pony rides. She and her husband Stan enjoyed growing vegetables in their gardens and maintaining their yard. She spoke frequently of driving to Maine to visit Th e Nubble Lighthouse, which was one of their favorite haunts. Jane worked for several optical companies in her career as a customer service representative before retiring and loved talking to people on the phone ad building strong customer relationships. She and her husband, Stanley loved going on trips around the country with her brother, Ken and his wife, Linda. They traveled to Sedona, Arizona, Yosemite, CA, The Grand Canyon in Arizona, Texas to visit family and to the Blue Mountains of Tennessee and Destin, FL and created many happy memories. Jane enjoyed her home and family and had many friends she communicated with in person and on the internet around the U.S. She loved spending time with her three nieces when they were children and as they grew up. Of all the things in her life, she enjoyed being around her family the most, especially around the holidays.
