James Jette

WALES: James Michael Jette, 61, of Wales, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2014 at Windy Hill Farm.  He attended Wales Center School and graduated Tantasqua Regional High School in 1971.  He took courses at Springfield Technical Community College, worked at Roms Restaurant, the State of Massachusetts after the 2011 Tornado and for the Town of Wales Highway Dept.   His mother, Teresa F. (Poliuk) Jette predeceased him in 2010.  He is survived by his father, Albert J. Jette of Wales, 2 brothers; Joel Jette and his wife Gail of Wales and Jonathan Jette of CT, his sister JoAnne Higgins and her husband Peter of Wales, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews.   Jim was a quiet, kind person loved by many and never had a bad word to say.  He loved and cared for the animals on Windy Hill Farm and was a constant companion to his father.  A great mechanic, he loved motorcycles and cars.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to: Wales Public Library, P.O.
