James Gibson

September 11, 1955 — September 14, 2021

WARREN: James (Nibby) Gibson, 66, of Warren, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at his home. Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years Kerri (Toohey) Gibson, his sister Cathy (Gibson) Binley of East Brookfield and many nieces and nephews. Born in Worcester, son of late Richard and Amelda (Burlingame) Gibson. He is predeceased by his sister Mary Joan Gibson. Jim was a born again Christian and attended Charlton Baptist Church for many years. He had a deep love for God and a true understanding of God's merciful love for us all. Jim attended Tantasqua High School and graduated in 1973. He owned a travel business for many years which provided an opportunity to see the world, but of all his travels he most enjoyed his yearly vacation to Maine with his family. He also worked in construction and sales and was a long-time member of the NRA. Jim was an accomplished artist, poet and musician. These gifts gave him much pleasure later in life, knowing they came from God. He enjoyed fishing and golfing with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and a real love for nature. He was actively involved in wildlife rehabilitation with an affinity for raccoons. As Jim would always say, "Remember you're loved!" A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday March 20th at 2:00PM at the Charlton Baptist Church, 50 Hammond Hill Rd, Charlton MA. Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements. An online guestbook available at www.BelangerFuneralHome.com
