James R. Ditomasso, 50, of Sun City Center, FL., and formerly of Charlton passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 after a long battle with brain cancer. When he passed, he knew he was surrounded by the people he loved and who cared deeply for him.
Jim made many friends over the years. He owned and operated Ditomasso Auto Body in Charlton for many years, a career born from his love of cars, especially Mustangs. He loved his trips to Daytona and Myrtle Beach and had many friends in both places. He loved NASCAR, golfing and most recently being able to call Florida home for the last year.
Jim leaves behind his three daughters, Keri Ditomasso of Bradenton, FL., Samantha Ditomasso of Willington, CT., and Devin Schlichting and her husband Jesse of Bettendorf, IA; his beloved grandson Gavin Barber of Willington; his mother and caregiver Paula Quattrocelli of Sun City Center, FL.; brother Anthony Ditomasso and his wife Amber of Brimfield; uncle and aunt Paul and Patty Lamoureux of Charlton, and aunt Diane Butler of Charlton; cousin Amy Butler of Sturbridge; step-father Robert Quattrocelli of Fiskdale; Brandy Ditomasso and her son Andrew King of Charlton; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and so many friends. His daughters’ mother Christine Ryan and aunt Roz Radin also survive him. Jim was predeceased by his father Ronald Ditomasso.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date. The date and time will be posted so that Jim’s relatives and friends may share stories and memories together.
