SOUTHBRIDGE – James Barrett, 64, of Brook Rd., died Saturday, February 12, at St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife, Maria (Jimenez) Barrett; 2 sons, Keith Barrett, of Marlborough, and Scott Barrett, of Worcester; a step-son, Edgar Carrion, of California, MD; two step-daughters, Sara Janet Carrion of Woonsocket, and Ruth Carrion, Worcester; 3 grandchildren and 11 step-grandchildren.
He worked as a machinist for Dexter Russell. He was an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW of Salisbury, MA. He enjoyed driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle, collecting coins, and building model cars.
A funeral service will be held at NOON, Wednesday, February 16, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, Agawam. Calling hours are from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, February 15 in the funeral home.
