Southbridge; James V. Apostal, 64, of Marland Rd. formerly of Southbridge, died Sunday, Feb. 18, at UMASS in Worcester. He leaves his wife Cecilia (Ninete) Apostal whom he married on August 6, 2005. He is also survived by daughter Christine Apostal, his mother Norma (Prendi) Apostal of Southbridge, step son James Oâ??Niell of Shrewsbury, two step daughters Gloria Oâ??Neill of Philadelphia, Tonya Flynn of Worcester, Pamela Oâ??Neill of Streling, a brother Thomas Apostal and his wife Alice of Sturbridge 4 step grandchildren and a niece Laura Ouelette .
He was born in Southbridge the son of the late Vasil Apostal, graduated from Mary E. Well High School and moved to Worcester last year.
He worked for Peterson Oil Co. in Worcester for 24 years before he retired. He enjoyed trips to Foxwoods but most of all he enjoyed his family and friends.
His funeral will be held at 10:AM Thursday, Feb. 22, in Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
