SOUTHBRIDGE: Jaime A. Rodriguez, 47, of Mechanic St, died Friday, Aug. 23 after bein stricken ill at his brother’s home. His wife Carol (O’Connell) Rodriguez died Aug. 23 2002.
He leaves 2 sons Jaime Rodriguez of Southbridge, Pedro Rodriguez of Waltham, 3 daughters Alexis Rodriguez of Southbridge, Sheena Rodriguez of Cambridge, Jamary Rodriguez of Roxbury, his mother Catalina (Aponte) Rodriguez of Southbridge, his father Catalino Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, 5 brothers Roberto Rodriguez of FL, Teodosio Rodriguez of Chelsea, Jose Rodriguez of Southbridge, Jose A. Rodriguez of Lynn, Catalino Rodriguez of Medford, 4 sisters Maria Pagan of Puerto Rico, Celida Rodriguez-Valetin of Southbridge, Aleida Nunez of Dorchester, Glenda Rodriguez of Southbridge, a granddaughter Avriani Rodriguez. He was predeceased by a son Aaron Rodriguez in 1986 and a brother Pedro Rodriguez in 1995.
Jaime worked for the City of Cambridge and Basic Furniture Company for 16 years prior to his illness. He enjoyed fishing, sports and singing.
His calling hours are 5:00PM to 9:00PM on Wednesday, August 28, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, Aug, 29 in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
